Cleanroom Pass-Through Solutions
Our cleanroom pass-through solutions ensure secure material transfer without compromising the controlled environment. Acting as barriers against contaminants, they keep both the transferred items and the cleanroom uncontaminated.
Our pass-through windows, chambers, and cabinets are designed to minimize air turbulence and prevent cross-contamination, providing safe and efficient material transfers. These durable solutions are essential for maintaining the integrity of your cleanroom operations.
Why A Poly Pass-Through?
We investigated the industry trying to find a better option than a standard stainless steel pass-through. We found that during the maintenance requirements of USP-797 and USP-800 the chemicals used on 304 stainless would show rust. Which is a massive issue while getting recertified.
Our process begins with sheets of stress-relieved Homopolymer Polypropylene. We then CNC cut and thermoplastic weld the panels together to form a seamless joint. We use the same formula for sheet and welding rod (identical composition) and are both ductile. Our customers have come to expect that our Poly-Pass-Throughs will consistently pass certification, and outperform everyday.

-
Containment primary engineering control--A ventilated device designed and operated to minimize worker and environmental exposures to airborne contaminants through the full or partial enclosure of a potential contaminant source, the use of airflow capture velocities to trap and remove airborne contaminants near their point of generation, the use of air pressure relationships that define the direction of airflow into the cabinet, and the use of high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration on all potentially contaminated exhaust streams. Examples of containment primary engineering control include containment ventilated enclosures, biological safety cabinets, and compounding aseptic containment isolators

Advantages of Poly Pass-Through FM 4910 Construction:
-
Strong chemical resistance
-
Superior surface appearance, higher gloss and surface smoothness (very low surface dyne or surface energy)
-
Resistant to particle adhesion and easier to clean
-
Lighter weight, lower density, higher stiffness, higher flexural modulus
-
Low thermal expansion and contraction
